There are many ways to restore missing teeth, and dental implants are one option. Whereas dentures and partials are removable, an implant is surgically placed into a patients jaw bone to resemble a permanent tooth. The implant then fuses itself into the bone so there’s no need to worry about it moving or falling off. Implants can be used to replace one tooth, multiple teeth, and can even be used as part of a denture, which is called an implant denture.
